More Orientation!

Today was a lot of orientation! We started at Bernardi with breakfast and more talks with just basic information about the building and traveling and lots of random stuff. We then took a tour of the building which we were supposed to get yesterday but didn't since we got back so late!

After we grabbed a sandwich (which I had no idea what was in it...it was kind of gross!) we headed to the Angelicum where we will be taking classes. We had more food there and then got a small tour and more orientation. We then had Italian class for 2 hours. We were split into two groups though so only half of us had the class and the other half had the rest of the afternoon off. The class is a lot of fun and I am excited to learn it. I just hope I will pick it up quickly!

After class those of us who were left headed back to Bernardi. We were able to stop by the Trevi Fountain which is beautiful! It was dark by the time we passed it but it was lit up so nice! We also passed by a shop with gelato so we couldn't turn that down :) YUMMY!!

Then we got back and freshened ;) up a little and went down for a full Italian meal which was delicious! Way too much to eat though! Its a good thing we walk a lot!!! :)

This was only our first full day in Rome and I have to say I am falling in love with it already! I wish I could share it with everyone! I am soaking up all that I can :) I know I have so much more to see and look forward to it as the semester keeps unfolding!

Until next time :)....Ciao! (my Italian is already coming to use ;)
